First off let me say that the TOP 10 NBA players list that my brethren at ESPN put out was unconstitutional, moronic, unstable, buffonic,uncomprinhendable, and any other Stephen A. Smith word that you can come up with. Kobe Bryant number #7 on who's list? Laker Haters Snapper Jones,Charles Barkley or Tim Legler maybe, but not anyone with and ounce of basketball acronym would ever put THE MAMBA #7 on any list. THE FROZEN ONE QUEEN JAMES #1 are you serious. Did you not watch that pathetic display of 4th quarter play by THE FROZEN ONE in the Finals that had such clutch players as Greg Anthony, John Starks, Mike Vanderjagt and any Florida St. kicker you can name kicking against THE U rolling over in their grave with laughter. I don't know what criteria you guys used for naming your TOP 10 players in the NBA, but I am going to use the most simple and efficient method known to man. The eyeball test. The eyes don't lie unless your Eddie Murphy and its late at night and your patrolling the red light district looking for ass and even then Kobe shouldn't end up 7th on a list when only two of the guys above him have rings and he has three more than both of them combined. If Jordan at the age of 72 came back and played you dickriding bastards would find some way to at least put his ass top 5 if not top 3. Here is my official, unbiased, professional opinion on where the TOP 10 PLAYERS in the NBA should be ranked.
- 10)DERRICK MARTELL ROSE- The media got one thing right last year you were the MVP last year just not of the NBA. You are a tremendous talent, and living breathing human highlight film, but this not Ruckers Park or the And 1 tour. This is the NBA where PG are supposed to make others better and last time I checked you were Bobby Brown only looking out for your prerogative.
- 9)AMAR'E CARSARES STOUDEMIRE- The absolute best finisher on the pick and roll today not named Blake Griffin. Amar'e is so well respected and feared that if Cleveland had traded for him two years ago instead of Jamison they would have went to the finals and battled my Lakers.
- 8)LeBron RAYMONE JAMES- Let me preface this by saying I think THE FROZEN ONE can do things on the basketball court because of his size and speed that Jordan and Kobe can't do, but that doesn't make him a more skilled or better basketball player. It just means he is more athletic. I will say this to everyone one more time. During his stay in Cleveland LeBron was the Most Valuable Player to his individual team in the league, but not the best player in the league. He needs to win some championships playing the leading role to take that foul stench of his past performances away and move him further up my list where he belongs.
- 7)CARMELO KIYAN ANTHONY- The best clutch player in the NBA not named Kobe or Dirk. All Melo does is got out night in and night out and bust whoever ass is guarding him. Win, lose or draw Melo doesn't shy away from the pressure. In fact like Barkley lips to Jordan's ass he runs towards it. Take note James Melo embraced NY while outside of you wearing their hat you wanted no parts of NY.
- 6)CHRISTOPHER EMMANUEL PAUL- Look at the playoff match up last year between the Lakeshow and the Hornets and tell me who the most valuable player on the court was. It was Paul, because to this day I don't know who the hell he was playing with but he carried them to a 6 game war with the Lakers. I used to think Daren Williams was the best PG in the league until Paul said just because I play in New Orleans with no help doesn't mean I'm not capable of playing with the big dogs. He is everything Derrick Rose is not.
- 5)KEVIN WAYNE DURANT- Let's just say if he wins 5 chips, a league MVP, 3 ALL STAR MVP'S and countless ALL NBA 1ST TEAM appearances INCLUDING DEFENSE he has a shot at being mentioned right behind Kobe Bryant. In all fairness though he is a bad motherfucker who if he does improve his defense, all around game and gains some weight who the fuck can guard him. He and THE FROZEN ONE should be battling for supremacy over the next decade. If he had a ring I would put him higher on my list.
- 4)DWIGHT DAVID HOWARD- Already a dominant force on both ends of the court. I think all he needs to become the true Superman is a Batman. Every night he fights crime against the bad guys with no assemblance of where his help is coming from. He is by far the most intimidating player in the league and all he needs is a Kobe to bring out the beast in him. Imagine Dwight Howard playing with a purpose and growling rather than smiling. Scary proposition.
- 3)DWYANE TYRONE WADE JR.- The heir apparent to Kobe. Now that is saying a lot. If he had been able to pull out last years final he would have been at least #2 or possibly #1. The only weakness to me in his game outside of his streaky jump shot is his man on man defense. Playing the passing lane for steals and garnering weak side blocks there is no one better. Wade has to make up in his mind if he is the leading man or the best supporting actor. Just think Eddie Murphy or Arsenio Hall. Then and only then will he make his mark in this league.
- 2)DIRK WERNER NOWITZKI- We have waited since the year 2000 for Dirk to stand up and show what we all knew he was capable of since day stinking 1. Maybe it was all the years of losing, maybe it was the Heat shucking and jiving before they actually won. Whatever it was Dirk showed the world why perhaps he not Gasol is the most skilled big man in the league. Forget the second coming of Bird we should be celebrating as the first coming of Dirk.
- 1)KOBE BEAN BRYANT- The undisputed without a shadow of a doubt best thing going today in the NBA. Don't waste your breathe arguing the point, because the only man you motherfuckers dare compare to Michael Jordan is THE MAMBA. For that reason alone he is #1 but there are also others but because of thing called time I can't list them all here. Just do this for me the game is on the line the clock is ticking 5,4,3,2,1 what guy on this list do you want taking that shot and as a foe who would you fear the most. Question answered case close. SWOOOOOOOOOOSH ALL NETS WITH A HAND UP BITCH. BLACK MAMBA FOR LIFE.
