Why is it that the more things change the more things stay the same in the city of Baltimore when it comes to the football team? I was told that the defense was aging and that it could no longer be counted on to dominate like it has in years past. They might not be the 2000 version but this defense is certainly capable of winning a SUPER BOWL. I was also told that with the additions of Bouldin, Stallworth, and Houshmandzadeh to go along with Rice, Mason, Heap, and Flacco this offense was supposed to be top 5 and average 30 points a game. Wrong! Wrong! The Ravens produce only 21.7 pts ago good for 16th in the league. The high powered Chiefs, Titans,Jets,Lions, and Raiders are averaging more points than the Ravens and I have not seen the offensive consistency that you would expect from the players they have. Is it Flacco's youth and inconsistent play on the road that is holding them back? Is it Cameron and his fucked up play calling to go along with his pee wee league game plans that should be blamed or is it Harbaugh and the fact that he was a former specials team's coach with limited knowledge of the offensive side of the ball that should receive the criticism. I don't have the answer, but I do know this I have seen this shit before. I can't put my finger on it, but I think several other guys tried their hands at elevating the play of the Ravens offense and each of them failed. Do the names Billick ,Cavanaugh, Fossel and Neuheisel ring a bell? Check their track records: BILLICK HAD ONE OF THE TOP OFFENSES IN THE HISTORY OF THE GAME WHEN HE WAS COACHING THE VIKINGS. ANY MAN THAT COULD TURN KERRY COLLINS INTO A 4000 YARD PASSER LIKE FOSSEL DID DESERVES CREDIT. NEUHEISEL HAD PROLIFIC OFFENSES AT COLORADO AND WASHINGTON AND CAVANAUGH HAS COACHED AT TWO PLACES SINCE HE LEFT THE RAVENS AND HE DOESN'T AT ALL RESEMBLE THE BUFFOON THAT WE HAD LABELED HIM HERE IN BALTIMORE. Now don't call me a detective, but if all of this is true than through process of elimination you must have reached the same conclusion that I have come to. The Ravens organizational hierarchy is to blame for this anemic ass string of offensive disappointments year end and year out. Think about it no matter who they draft or sign or who coaches the team the results are the same. I think that THE RAVENS WAY WAS DISCOVERED BACK IN THE YEAR 2000 AND THE ORGANIZATION DECIDED THAT IS HOW WE WANT TO PLAY FOOTBALL AND NO ONE IS GOING TO CHANGE THAT. THE ORGANIZATION LOVES THAT BLUE COLLAR APPROACH AND I THINK THE COACHES CONFORM THEIR PHILOSOPHIES AND SCHEMES TO FIT IN. I could draw the same conclusion about the D, but that would take up to much time. The next time you watch and analyze a Ravens game just remember Cameron coached a prolific offense in San Diego that features Rivers, Gates and Tomlinson and I don't think he has all of a sudden forgot how to coach football. He sees the same shit that we do only he has an organization to answer to if he fails to do what he is told. Now on to the LOWDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Don't call it a controversy, but is Kitna not the leader that the Cowboys have been looking for. Several times he expressed his displeasure with plays on the field ranging from Buehler missing a filed goal, to holding calls to Austin misjudging a deep ball that would have resulted in a touchdown. One time Dez Bryant came over to complain about not getting the ball and Kitna blew him off. Could you imagine that shit happening with Romo at QB? With his leadership skills and command of the offense I would not be opposed to seeing more of Kitna. This doesn't mean that I don't like Romo. It just means that I for now I have love for Kitna.
- No matter what they do, the Deadskins are an organization that can't seem to get out of it's own way. You bring in Shannahan and trade for McNabb and all seems right in the world. Then you start the season off on top of the NFC EAST at 3-2 , possibly looking at a playoff birth when Shannahan starts fucking with McNabb. Keep in mind he was already fucking with Haynesworth from the jump. Reports have recently surfaced that Shanahan had an argument years ago with his wife over the fact that due to the birth of their newborn baby son she would not be able to do participate in mandatory threesomes during two a days or perform his version of the wishbone offense in the bedroom the way he had prepped her for . Looks like another year of missing the playoffs and organizational turmoil are in store for the Dead skins and I truly believe that it could not happen to a better team.
- When an organization decides to change its offensive or defensive philosophy for one player when they were successful doing things a certain way ,only bad things can happen. It is easier to make one player conform to a team than it is for a team to conform to one player. Minnesota changed who they were when they got Brett Favre and the Bengals changed who they were upon signing Terrell Owens. Both teams relied on dominant running games to go along with top ranked defenses and they were both successful. Even though Brett took the Vikings to the championship game he did so at expense of Adrian Peterson and the Vikings running game has not been the same since. The Bengals had Superbowl asperations after signing T.O. and now they look like the biggest bunch of underachievers this side of Texas. Instead of relying on their strengths and leveraging their new acquisitions both franchises did a 180 and guess what neither is going to make the playoffs. That's what your dumbasses get.

- BUFFOON OF THE WEEK:
- For all of you with children would you give your child access to your bank account and tell them to take out money whenever they felt the need to. Would you ask that same child to make sure you wake up on time for work every morning and blame them when they happen to over sleep? The reason why I ask you this is because the buffoon of the week did things similar to these and acted in amazement when things didn't go according to plan. How do you hire a 33 year old who had never been a head coach before at any level let alone the NFL and expect him to succeed. Combined Brad Piff, S.,Greg, Josh McDaniels and myself all have had the same amount of high school and college head coaching experience. Zero, so the buffoon of the week could have hired anyone of us and guess what we would have not only come cheaper, but Marshall, Cutler, and Peyton Hillis would still be Broncos. Oh and I forgot we would have never given up draft picks to draft a QB who we could have gotten in the 3rd or 4th round because not only do we have common sense but Cutler would have still been on the roster and we would have addressed that wack ass defensive instead. The guy that I am calling the buffoon of the week fired a head coach who had guided his team to 2 super bowls for a guy who had watched two Superbowl's live. The guy I am talking about is Pat Bowen. You watched this man fuck your franchise up and now you call him out. Where the fuck were you out of town when all of this shit happened? You went to the Jerry Jones school of ownership where you believe you are to cool for school. You did things your way then acted shock when the results were fucked up. You let a dude who had as much business running a team as Carl Lewis does of singing the National Anthem be the face of your franchise and for that Pat Bowen you are the Buffoon of The Week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- I'M OUT LIKE THE CAVS MANHOOD AFTER JAMES EMBARRASSED THEM.
