TOP 10 WRESTLING FEUDS OF MY ERA

These are the feuds that I consider to be the greatest of all time from the years 1985-present day. There were a lot that didn't make the cut, but I chose the feuds that not only were great from a dramatic and physical standpoint but those that hold a historical importance as well. So without further a due here are my TOP 10 WRESTLING FEUDS.
HONORABLE MENTION: Magnum TA vs Tully Blanchard feud was so intense it culminated in the most famous I QUIT MATCH that I ever saw.
HONORABLE MENTION: Dusty Rhodes vs Tully Blanchard gave us barbed wire matches, first blood matches, bunkhouse matches and epic cage matches. I believe Tully was Dusty's most hated rival ever.
HONORABLE MENTION: R&R EXPRESS VS MIDNIGHT EXPRESS was the classic babyface vs heel encounter. The added element of the Louisville Slugger Jim Cornette and Big Bubba Rogers only made their matches even greater.
HONORABLE MENTION: FABOLOUS FREEBIRDS VS BILL WATTS marks the first time I ever saw wrestlers attack an authority figure when Gordy used the Asiatic Spike on Watts and had him bleeding from the mouth. That's what happens when you take a walk down BADSTREET ATLANTA GA.
HONORABLE MENTION: RIC FLAIR VS RICKY STEAMBOAT matches were so good they left you clamoring for more. You leave their matches believing that pro wrestling is a legit sport.

HONORABLE MENTION: PAUL JONES ARMY VS BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN wasn't about titles, money, bitches, family or a misunderstanding. Matter of fact I don't know why they were feuding, but I do know they hated each other, spilled buckets of blood and fought for years so whatever it was it was real.
10. BRUISER BRODY VS ABDULLAH THE BUTCHER was the bloodiest, most violent matches that I have ever seen. This picture says it all. If you were looking for headlocks, submission holds or chain wrestling you were looking at the wrong damn wrestling. This was some Katie Bar the door X over the TV screen type of violence.
9. MAGNUM TA VS NAKITA KOLOFF wasn't your typical USA vs Russia battle. The Koloffs attacked Magnum in front of his Mom at a press conference which led Magnum to punching out NWA President Bob Geigel for reprimanding him. The culmination was the first ever Best of 7 series held during the 1986 Great American Bash which featured the Russian Sickle vs the Belly to Belly.
8. STONE COLD VS THE ROCK was box office. The two biggest stars in wrestling exchanging catch phrases, stunners and rock bottoms. Their feud brought us Rock throwing Austin off a bridge, Rock holding a camera at Backlash and doing play by play and color while laying the smackdown on Austin and who can forget Austin paging the Rock 911 and then showing up and stomping a mud hole and walking it dry on the Rock's ass.
7. HBK VS BRETT HART was a classic tale of life imitating art as these two hated each other off camera. Their matches were classics as well as their promos. The Hart Foundation and DX were two of the greatest factions of all time and they both came about as a result of this feud. The Screwjob in Montreal was possibly the biggest controversy in the history of wrestling. The match forever changed the landscape of wrestling.
6. DUSTY RHODES VS RIC FLAIR was comparable to Ali vs Frasier. The Common Man vs The Nature Boy. The American Dream vs The Nature Boy. Lakers vs Celtics. Oklahoma vs Texas. They were the complete opposites in and out of the ring, but they made beautiful music together. Anytime the marquee said Flair vs Rhodes you knew the stakes were high, you were going to get your money's worth and win , lose or draw somebody was going to encounter HARD TIMES.
5. NWO VS WCW produced the biggest heel turn in the history of wrestling. Hulk Hogan dropping the leg on Savage was the shot heard around the world. The NWO was the first official gang in wrestling. Their colors, hand signals, catch phrases, music and beat downs are all legendary and copied to this day. Who would have thought the day Scott Hall showed up on WCW programming that it would help usher in a new era in wrestling known as the WWF attitude era. The NWO forced WCW  and WWF to change their products and it sparked the Monday night wars which led to WCW and ECW closing their doors.
4.HOGAN VS PIPER gave us Wrestlemania which is still celebrated to this day. What made this feud so good was you had two Icons going at it and neither one backed down. I believe to this day Hogan never pinned Piper. Think about that for a minute

3.FOUR HORSEMAN VS ROAD WARRIORS AND SUPER POWERS not only brought us WAR GAMES but it was the reason why everyone with a pulse tuned in on Saturday's at 12 to watch World Wide Wrestling and 6:05 pm to watch NWA Pro Wrestling on the Super station. Words can't describe what we saw so go to YouTube and watch it.
2. STONE COLD VS MR. MCMAHON was possibly the biggest angle in wrestling history. Austin was the defiant employee who hated his boss. Mr. McMahon was the billionaire employer who demanded things be done his way. When you put a rattlesnake who lives by the motto of don't trust anybody in the ring with a man who believes he is God you have the most epic television I have ever viewed in my life. This feud deserves to be #1 but out of respect and respect only I put it at #2.
1. HULK HOGAN VS ANDRE THE GIANT the picture says it all. 93,000 people and millions more on PPV to watch a undefeated champion face a giant who had never loss. You can't write anything greater than that. The story told itself. To see Andre get slammed and pinned makes this the most epic and grounbreaking feud to date not to mention Hogan's reign coming to an end when Andre defeated him with the help of Ted Dibiase and crooked twin referees. Much like Flair Rhodes, Andre Hogan was box office but on a whole nother level.

TOP 5 SHOOTING GUARDS OF ALL TIME

1) Michael Jeffrey Jordan has 5 league MVP'S, 6 NBA Championships and he was the MVP  of each one of those titles. The man who I call the Blueprint has often been referred to as the GOAT. He is the face of HERO BALL and has influenced many individuals to say the hell with the team I'm going for mine. One of those casualties of war Harold Miner, came into the NBA with tremendous fanfare. He won a pair of Slam Dunk contests and had two doughnuts and a cup of coffee with two teams before retiring in 1996. Michael in the old testament means ISO OR CLEAR OUT.
1A) Kobe Bean Bryant AKA The Mamba will  never get his due because he came after Jordan. That's why I call him The Remix. I hear that Wilt dropped 100, but there is no footage or no one living who played in or witnessed it to verify it. Plus the only thing I have ever seen is a photo of Wilt holding a sign that says 100 that could have been photo shopped. 81 in a game, averaged 43.4 points per game for a month , 4 straight games of over 45, and oh yes I almost forgot he outscored the Mavs by himself 62-61 on Dec. 20,2005 and he sat out the 4th quarter. The Mamba holds records that the history book says only Wilt accomplished, but he is seen as a ball hog. Don't blame The Remix for hearing IF I COULD BE LIKE MIKE AND DUPLICATING IT TO THE T. This 5 time, 5 time, 5 time champion's only sin was being born after MJ and I put that on HIS PARENTS.
3) Jerry Alan West aka Mr. Clutch aka Mr. Logo aka Mr. Outside aka Zeke from Cabin Creek is on this because he was a bad man. Look up his list of accomplishments both as a player and executive and it is unparalleled in NBA history. He holds the NBA record for highest scoring average in a playoff series with 46.3 and he is the only player in the history of the game to win MVP of the finals while playing on the losing team in 1969. Being the NBA logo says it all.

4)Clyde Austin Drexler aka The Glide was a 10 time all star, one of the 50 greatest, a Dream Team Member, a NBA champion and a two-time Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee. If it wasn't for men named Magic, MJ, and Isiah Clyde could have won 3 more chips and his status as an all time great would have been elevated.

5)Dwyane Tyrone Wade Jr. aka Flash aka Dwade is one of the greatest guards in the history of the game when it comes to scoring, shooting percentage and finishing in the paint. If it wasn't for The Mamba Wade would have been this generations best shooting guard.'His ability to block shots and convert buckets over much larger players separate him from his contemporaries. His career is not over and I can possibly see him passing Drexler when he retires.
